In an attempt at providing opinionated reading material at the expense of huge amounts of backlash (feel free to skip to the last 1 or 2 paragraphs for a summary).....
Without further adieu:
PL :: While I used to admire them, they like easy pickens now adays and haven't really done anything relevant on their own. The current Drone Lands offensive they are doing is essentially them picking on a bus filled with mentally ******** children.
NCdot :: Individuals within NCdot are chill as hell. The have lots of capable pilots and it was fun flying with. It's a shame that Vince is a complete failure otherwise we (BL & NCdot) could have easily given it to the CFC.
Nulli :: I'm on the ropes with Nulli. I had a little experience w/ them which wasn't all that great. My opinion back then was they were ****, but rumor is they are getting better. With that, I'm not sure about their capabilities and refrain from making any crucial judgements.
R&K :: One of my favorites cause they stick it to the man pretty regularly; outnumbered, etc. Not to mention their awesome videos which are narrated in a way that pulls you into the battle at hand. Other than the videos though, and some other BR's I've looked at, I have no first hand experience with them and will leave that to people who do.
TEST :: Unable to do squat on their own. I've had very little interaction with Test on a player level, but given how CFC and PL helped them acquire the space they have now, it's quite easy to recognize that Test is ****. Probably some cool dudes in TEST though considering they have 10k+ members.
CFC :: Napfest. Every alliance in the CFC should be ashamed of themselves. They join a pvp game, and yet blue everyone. Literal laughing stock of eve. Each alliance is incapable of doing anything on their own. They, individually, are all ****.
IRC :: They've seen better days no doubt. In today's eve however I don't think they are relevant.
Solar :: Having been on both sides of solar, and being a single smallish entity they are, it's easy for me to say that solar overall have competent pilots and are good at internet spaceships. Maybe not the best, but certainly bring the fights. Respect for that.
BL :: Commenting on my own alliance without seeming biased is of course something very hard for me to accomplish so I'll refrain from doing so.

Now that my opinion (that you didn't ask for) is out of the way, here is my closing.
If I had to vote for a single alliance that `gets it`, while excluding `BL` that's `best for eve`, my answer would most likely be a small alliance whom consistently provides real pvp content..
Given the above alliances, R&K would be my answer. |
